From sole trader to BV

The step to a BV, without the hassle.

Wondering whether a BV pays off? We assess whether the switch makes sense, guide the incorporation and set up everything afterwards - bookkeeping, DGA salary and corporate tax. One party for the entire process.

When it pays off

Four signals a BV is worth considering.

There is no magic threshold - the tipping point depends on your profit, private situation and plans. But with these signals, running the numbers pays off.
  • 01

    Structurally rising profit

At higher profits, the difference between income tax and corporate tax + DGA salary can work in your favour. We calculate where the tipping point lies for your situation.

  • 02

    Private liability pinches

Bigger contracts, staff or inventory? A BV separates business and private assets.

  • 03

    Partners or investors

Issuing shares, bringing in a partner or building a holding structure requires a BV.

  • 04

    Credibility and contracts

Some clients and tenders require a BV - or simply take you more seriously with one.

Whether a BV is genuinely better in your case depends on your full situation. We always run the numbers before advising anything - sometimes the honest answer is that staying a sole trader is better.
